I became John Tyler to experience his thoughts about how slavery is beneficial to the United States.

Good morning, my name is John Tyler. In 1790, I was born at my father's plantation in Greenway, VA. At the age of 19, I passed the bar exam becoming a lawyer. Two years later, I started my political life where I served on the VA legislature, US House of Representatives, and the Senate and soon I was chosen as the Vice President candidate for the Whig Party with my running mate William Harry Harrison. A month into his presidency, Harrison died leaving me to take office as president (but I wouldn’t say that I am the acting president) setting a precedent of what to do when a president dies.
"Philanthropy, when separated from policy, is the most dangerous agent in human affairs. It is no way distinguishable from fanaticism. It hears not, sees not, and understands not…. And is there not a spirit of that sort now at work in our own fair land? It is the antagonist of that which we cherish. It invades our hearth, assails our domestic circles, preaches up sedition, and encourages insurrection… in a word, it is the spirit of abolition.”

It is beneficial because helps the country economical and provides a reason for the country to expand and grow and become more powerful.
